About the Class
Check out this video or keep reading below if you’re more of a “see it on paper” person!
searchable books
A lot of artists start by designing their coloring book pages, and that is actually the last thing you should do! The first step is to find a category that has an underserved niche and make sure that the theme that you’re building your work around is highly searchable.
choose your style & Complexity
Coloring books can be as simple or complex as you want, and you can spend 20 minutes or two hours on each page depending on what style of book you want to make.
dip your toe in
Once we’ve created a solid topic, we’ll design the style and structure of the book by creating a few sample pages. This class is great for someone who doesn’t even know if they want to make adult coloring books because I’ll take you through the whole process of designing some sample pages so you’ll kind of get a feel for that process and see if it’s something you enjoy.
enable creativity in others
Coloring books allow you to create pages that encourage other people around the world to express their own creativity. And often these people do not have backgrounds in art and design, but have a deep desire to be creative.
It is so fun to hear from other people around the world who love coloring inside your designs, and such a gift to get to share your style with others in this all-ages product.
